Please be aware that as the game is constantly evolving, some of these instructions may not be 100% accurate.
Your subjects each require 1 unit of food to sustain them per turn. If you don't provide 1 food per 1 population per turn, the population will die off according to the food deficit. So for example, if you have 10 population and only provide 7 food, you will have 7 population remaining next turn.
The amount of work that units can do depends on their population, the kind of work they're doing, and the "tools" they have available. Their work output can be increased by giving them wood, copper and bronze.
This means ALL kinds of work - including farming, mining, building walls, and fighting in battles.
No upgrade Work output = 1 |
Wood Work output = 2 |
Copper Work output = 3 |
No upgrade Work output = 4 |
This means that if you give one of your population a single piece of bronze, the amount of work they do could be quadrupled. If you provide 10 bronze to a unit of 10, their work output could be 40.
These numbers are averages. Each turn, the real output will be calculated by other *secret* factors. You could, for example, lose a battle against a slightly inferior force.
